Why is 7.50 equal to 7 hours 30 minutes?
The fractional part is half an hour. Half of 60 minutes is 30 minutes.
How are half minutes rounded?
A positive value exactly halfway between whole minutes rounds up. For example, 0.025 hours becomes 2 minutes.
